Withdrawal and refunds

Last updated: 20 September 2026

The shop is being prepared. No purchases are currently possible. This policy explains the rights and procedures for future WESTKAB digital purchases through Paddle.

1. Request help or a refund

For payment and refund requests, use Paddle buyer support or the support link in your transaction receipt. Include your order reference and purchase email address so the transaction can be identified. For missing or faulty files, contact space@westkab.com. A reason is not required to exercise a statutory withdrawal right.

2. Withdrawal for consumers in Germany and the EU/EEA

You generally have 14 days from conclusion of the contract to withdraw from a digital-content purchase without giving a reason. The period does not begin before the legally required withdrawal information has been provided. To withdraw, send Paddle an unambiguous statement of your decision within the applicable period. For eligible EU transactions you can also use the withdrawal option in the Paddle Customer Portal, reached through your transaction email or Paddle buyer support.

For buyers in Germany and other countries outside the USA and Canada, Paddle identifies the seller as Paddle.com Market Limited, 30 Old Bailey, London, EC4M 7AU, United Kingdom. Withdrawal can also be sent to help@paddle.com. Check your receipt for the seller responsible for your purchase.

3. Immediate supply of digital content

Under German law, the withdrawal right for paid downloads expires early only if all required conditions are met: supply has begun; you expressly agreed to supply beginning before the withdrawal period ends; you acknowledged that this causes loss of the withdrawal right when supply begins; and the required contract confirmation was provided on a durable medium, such as email. Merely accepting general terms, personalising a file or making a payment is not enough. If these conditions have not been met, your applicable withdrawal right remains.

4. Refunds and faulty files

Following a valid statutory withdrawal, Paddle refunds the payment within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal, normally using the original payment method and without a refund fee. Other requests are handled under the Paddle Refund Policy. Voluntary refunds are not guaranteed.

If content is missing, defective or does not match its description, contact WESTKAB for assistance. Rights to supply, correction and, where the statutory conditions are met, a price reduction or refund remain available regardless of any loss of the withdrawal right. There is no blanket “no refunds for personalised books” rule. After a full refund, stop using the refunded files and delete personal copies, subject to any overriding legal right.

5. Other countries

Local mandatory consumer rights take priority. The applicable country-specific provisions in Paddle’s policy also apply; this page does not reduce stronger rights or impose a worldwide exclusion of refunds.

6. Optional withdrawal form

You may use this form, but an equally clear statement is sufficient. Send it to the Paddle seller identified in your receipt, for example via help@paddle.com. Do not send it unless you wish to withdraw.

7. Separate Amazon purchases
